It may be even longer before we get to see Nathan Drake on the silver screen. The Uncharted film based on the popular video game series of the same name has lost its director.
Seth Gordon, the filmmaker who was involved with the Sony Pictures project for some time, has dropped from the movie. Initially, reports suggest that he left due to budget cuts, however since then it has been indicated that there are no budget cuts but that the film is “simply going in a new direction.”
Despite the bad news of the film, fans can still look forward to the newest (and possibly final) addition to the franchise, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, will be released early next year for PS4.
